Job Description
Cruz Associates Inc., of Yorktown, VA, is currently collecting applications and resumes for qualified candidates as a Maintenance Pipefitter for future potential positions. The job location will be held at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD.
Scope of Performance: Qualified pipefitter to support maintenance, repair, and installation of explosive and chemical processing equipment. Technician will work in all explosive and chemical processing areas as determined by management or COR. Technician shall be subject to physical examinations and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tasks may include but are not limited to routine maintenance, repair, installation and modification to existing or new process equipment.
- Troubleshoot repairs, modifies, and conducts preventative maintenance on complex electrical, mechanical, and processing systems.
- Technician may be required to execute written maintenance procedures and document work completed on record sheets to be archived in data base.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Sufficient knowledge of mathematics
- Ability to gain Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to pass Explosives Handler physical and Respirator Fit test
- Ability to pass Ammo-18 Certification class
- 2 or more years of experience strongly desired
- State certification strongly desired
