Job Description
Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for a Technical Analysis Group (TAG) Technician IV. The job location is Fort Campbell, Kentucky in support of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR). 

Scope:  Position provides subject matter expertise for SOA peculiar aircraft technical analysis, to include developing system/sub-system level functional diagrams, conduct troubleshooting of aircraft avionics, communications, navigation, electrical, sensors, electronic countermeasures, flight control, power train control/indication, powerplant and weapon systems aircraft systems/sub-systems), both on and off aircraft.  Additionally, develop Maintenance Operational Check (MOC) and Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP). 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Senior-level technical, analytical, and systems diagnostic support for SOA MH-47, MH-60, and A/MH-6 helicopters and support systems.  
  • Provide Senior-level troubleshooting and maintenance technical services to resolve problems encountered during the development, integration, fielding, operations and sustainment of all aircraft and equipment operated by the 160th SOAR (A).
  • Provide Senior-level technical support to resolve Unit Level technical issues and questions.  These issues include on aircraft and off aircraft equipment troubleshooting, technical manual interpretation, establishing repair limits and techniques, writing, validating and verifying Maintenance Operational Checks, Fault Isolation Procedures, and Technical manuals.
  • Provide Senior-level on/off aircraft and equipment engineering investigations and analysis to determine the cause of reported abnormal symptoms or undesirable performance and provide recommendations to eliminate, correct, or preclude reoccurrence of reported deficiencies.
  • Suggests appropriate courses of action should technical problems arise or user requirements change.   
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years experience working in military aviation is required; 6 years of which involved direct experience (supporting analysis, development, technical, and correcting fielding issues of equipment) with highly complex aircraft systems.  
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with current aircraft and aircraft-related technical systems development, architecture and integration.
  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Architecture Design (CAAD) equipment/programs and its functional capabilities are required.
  • Possesses at least a Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in SOA is highly desirable. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an aviation program management office is highly desirable.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is desirable.
