Supervisory Project Manager

This Position is Contingent upon Contract Award

Purpose:

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Supervisory Project Manager who will provide key support and direct management and supervision of all projects related to supporting deliverables.

Job Description:

Define the scope, methods, and objectives of multiple complex projects.
Plan, organize, and direct multidisciplined Engineering, Professional, Technical and Administrative personnel while successfully achieving project objectives.
Provide direct management, supervision and oversight of all projects related to technical and administrative support deliverables.
Define, analyze, and interpret project data to ensure timely production of quality project deliverables and resolution of complex issues related to project implementation and operation.
Monitor performance measurements, by project, to promote continuous quality improvement and efficiency of technical support services provided.
Provide on-site presence at SURFMEPP headquarters and manages project internal communication and external communication with senior SURFMEPP leadership.

Qualifications:

Must have a BA/BS in Business Administration or Arts or related discipline and at least 9 years of various contract experience in Project Controls.
Must have experience managing depot level U.S. Navy surface ship maintenance planning functions or direct experience related to U.S. Navy surface ship operations or maintenance planning and execution.
Must possess a strong background working with multiple contract types.

Desired Qualifications:

Prefer a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree with at least 15 or more years managing depot level U.S. Navy surface ship maintenance planning functions.
Prefer at least 20 years progressive direct experience related to U.S. Navy surface ship operations or maintenance planning and execution.
Prefer experience in management or supervisory roles at a Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Repair, and Conversion command, Regional Maintenance Center, U.S. Navy Central Planning Activity, U.S. Navy Planning Yard Activity, or a Planning for Engineering and Repair Activity.

Security Requirements:

Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional Travel- Less than 10%
If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $140,000 per year
