Job Summary

Sentara Medical Group has a full-time employment position available for an Advanced Practice Provider, preferably with prior experience in primary care as a licensed provider, to join an established, collegial, high-functioning group practice in Hampton, Virginia. Sentara Family and Internal Medicine at Careplex West, located across the street from the hospital campus, consists of four Physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers who serve the community by providing care to patients ranging from infants to geriatrics.

Position Highlights:

*Full-time position with flexibility to work a 4 to 4-1/2 day work week; option for extended hours
* Average 16-24 patients per day
* Provide care to a wide range of patients: adults and chronic/complex care management, pediatric opportunity and newborns, if desired
*No call expectations at this time

Qualifications:

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - North Carolina, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Virginia, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia, Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
