The Structural Engineer will have a day to day task of office work with field walkdowns, structural analysis and measuring in the field. As well as support Capex projects and plant needs.

In addition, you will also be tasked to:

• Perform Detailed Engineering analysis, calculations, design, and sketches for Capex, plant support, and construction installations.
• Reviews and approves key engineering drawings and calculations, including field and design documents.
• Develop project scopes and estimates (hours and TICs) related to civil-structural work.
• Provides supervision and technical direction to Designers, Drafters and Engineers internal and external.

Required Degree:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.

Preferred License:

• Professional Engineering license

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in structural engineering design or related field.
• 3D model design review software experience required CadWORX or Plant 3D preferred.
• 5 years' experience with AutoCAD and a structural analysis software.
• Chemical plant or refinery experience required.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA and ANSI standards.
• Basic knowledge of building codes.
• Basic knowledge of the chemical industry and manufacturing processes.
