Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a

Finance Consultant

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is located at our Sentara Park office/1300 Sentara Park, Norfolk.

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Position Summary:

Provides financial, analytical and business management consulting support for a group of assigned departments or business units. Areas of support include:

  • analysis of monthly revenue and expense statements, revenue analysis, product line/case mix analysis, budget assistance, benchmarking, new program evaluations and feasibilities.
  • An MBA and fellowship with Sentara may be considered in lieu of other required experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor Level Degree--Finance or Accounting
  • Five years Accounting/Finance
  • 1 year of Healthcare experience
  • An MBA and fellowship with Sentara may be considered in lieu of other required experience.

Job Summary

Experience with Case Mix, Axiom, Medipac preferred. An MBA and fellowship with Sentara may be considered in lieu of other required experience.

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Accounting (Required), BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Finance (Required)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Certification - Other/National
