Salary Range: $18-$20 Per Hour

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Project Engineer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced Project Managers and contribute to various projects related to the design, construction, field implementation and the operation and maintenance in the engineering field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design, analysis, and constructability review for mechanical systems, including shop drawing, controls, and specification review.
  • Participate in formal design review, work plan development and implementation plans for mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure successful project completion.
  • Document and communicate project progress, results, and findings to stakeholders.
  • Support the technical and design reviews of requests for information (RFIs), value engineering change proposal, and new product specifications and requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Strong academic performance in relevant coursework, including HVAC mechanical design, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Proficient in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

This is a paid internship position, with a duration of 3 to 6 months, depending on the candidate's availability and performance. At the end of the internship, there may be opportunities for full - time employment, depending on business needs and the candidate's performance.
