Sentara Healthcare is currently recruiting a Cardiovascular Tech Student
to work at Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Applicants must have completed enough clinical hours in anaccredited cardiovascular technology programthat the student may use employed hours towards graduation requirements.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, performs procedures on patients. The Cardiovascular Tech Student acts as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures.

Must have completed enough clinical hours in an accredited cardiovascular technology program that the student may use employed hours towards graduation requirements.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
