Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our Recruiting Team in the construction industry. The incumbent will play a crucial role in utilizing talent sourcing methods for existing job openings and future needs, ensuring the company continues to attract top-tier candidates.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

This is an on-site role at our plant in Mount Airy, MD or Winchester, VA


Responsibilities

Utilize various sourcing methods, including research, phone calls, resume databases, pipelines, and our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), to identify and present qualified candidates for open positions.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of talent to meet the organization's future hiring needs.

Build and maintain connections with local high schools, colleges, vocational and technical schools, universities and other potential employment entities to source applicants into our existing pipelines.

Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess their skills, experience, and cultural fit for roles within the company.

Collaborate closely with the Recruiting Team to understand the requirements of each position and tailor sourcing strategies accordingly.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and talent market dynamics to enhance sourcing strategies.

Widen network in the industry for lead generation.


Qualifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Some experience using Internet sourcing tools, including but not limited to Indeed, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate candidate assessments.

Previous experience with high call volume and the ability to support high-volume recruiting needs.

Professionalism and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
