Sentara Hospice - Chesapeake is looking for a full time Bereavement Coordinator to join the team.

Shift: Mon - Fri (8am - 5pm)

The Bereavement Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining a bereavement program to meet the needs of the families/ caregivers of patients in the Hospice program. Provides bereavement support through grief support, therapeutic and spiritual counseling and through family assessments and consultations with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years Hospice experience required
  • Bachelors Degree required (must be in Theology, Counseling or Thanatology)
