We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Manager to join our team. As a Training Manager for Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective learning solutions that enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce. Your expertise in manufacturing operational excellence and learning design will be instrumental in creating meaningful training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Learning and Operational Excellence to define strategic learning objectives and align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify knowledge gaps and develop relevant training content to close performance gaps.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging and impactful training programs for employees across various levels.
  • Leverage your expertise in manufacturing operational excellence to create specialized training modules with SMEs related to all elements of operating system (e.g. productivity- and process improvement, quality control, etc.
  • Apply learning design principles to develop engaging and interactive training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led sessions, and job aids.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously update and enhance existing training content to ensure relevance and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate training initiatives into overall talent development strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative learning methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on manufacturing or operational excellence.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms, content authoring tools, and learning management systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
