Sentara Obici Hospital Central Inpatient Transport Services is hiring a Flexi, Rotating Shift, Patient Transporter!

Hours/Shift: Flexi (as needed), Rotating Shift

    As aPatient Transporter with Sentara, you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Basic Life Support Certification

    Preferred:

    • Previous Patient Care Experience

    Qualifications:

    HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

    Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
