Precise Systems, Inc. seeks a Cellular Engineer, Journeyman to develop and test cellular protocols in 3G, LTE, and 5G. NSWC Crane provides comprehensive support for complex military systems spanning design, development, deployment and sustainment in three focus areas: Electronic Warfare, Strategic Missions and Expeditionary Warfare
Desired Skills:
* (3) three years related professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks
* Strong software engineering skills including design, programming in C, C++, and python
* Highly motivated and self-directed
* Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams
* Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seeks to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
* Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
* Experience in with cellular protocols in 3G, LTE, and 5G
* Testing/evaluating protocols and vulnerabilities of the cellular standards
* Understanding of the foundational engineering behind the protocols, vulnerabilities, QoS elements and device programming
Desired Education:
* Bachelor's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
