Position Description

Abilities Network is seeking an Employment Specialist to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in finding jobs and providing one-on-one job coaching. Specialists must develop positive relationships with employers and find jobs that match the training, skills and preferences of the individuals we support in order to promote their independence. Applicants must have strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and negotiation skills and the ability to do group presentations. Must be comfortable approaching businesses in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties to seeking employment opportunities on behalf of the individuals we support.

Position if full time with great benefits, starts at $12.00/hr
